At a press conference organised by Madheshi Journalists' Society Thakur also said that the armed outfits should also publicise their main political agendas. Expressing sadness over Madhesh becoming a hotbed of murder, abduction, insecurity and anarchy, Thakur said government should hold talks with the armed groups.
Reiterating that the government should implement the agreement reached with the Samyukta Loktantrik Madhesi Morcha, Thakur said the points related to the constitution mentioned in the agreement should be guaranteed in the new constitution and the remaining should be implemented at the earliest.
