SARLAHI, Jan 16: Cadres of the CPN-Maoist (Matrika group) has declared the seizure of 40 bighas of land and houses on it belonging to Jolly Pradhan at Netragunj of Sarlahi district.
Party cadres led by central member Surendra Ajad erected a flag on the land, Friday.
The Maoists said they seized her seven concrete houses remaining unused in Netragunj as she was living in USA.
Previously, the Maoists had seized 80 bighas of land in Bhaktipur VDC.
The Maoist interference will be removed if the landowner filed petition, said CDO Basant Raj Gautam.
