A motorcycle rider was killed when his bike collided with a truck along the East West Highway in Hariwan, Sarlahi on Tuesday morning. The deceased has been identified as Gautam Rai, 30, of Dharan Municipality-16, Sunsari. Likewise, pillion rider Taparaj Rai has been critically injured in the incident. The police have begun an investigation. However, the truck driver is absconding after the incident.
